Synopsis
Kimura Takuya returns to Monday nights at Fuji TV as an ordinary
salary man, Kindaichi Fumio, who is loved by colleagues and trusted for
his ability to protect subordinates. One day, however, things take a 180
degree turn and his life becomes completely flipped upside down. His
superiors fix their eyes on him and concoct a plot to bring him down. He
is held responsible for a crime he has no recollection of, and is
forced to leave his position. More unfortunate events follow as
Kindaichi loses literally everything from his cellphone to his home,
ending up without a penny in his pocket. Shocked by his losses, he one
day meets two children in the park by chance who teach him how to get by
without any dependency on money. The greatest thing about Kindaichi’s
character is that his character never fails him. He always has a
carefree attitude and is driven by those people he meets, who love and
support him, not by inflicted pain or grudge against others.
Despite being the man who has lost all his possessions, Kindaichi
continues to move forward, inspiring his former boss, Moai Kengo, and
conservative office co-worker, Nikaido Aya, resulting in a big turning
point for each of them. What is it that money can’t buy? What is the
most precious thing in life? A man tells the story of finding that
“priceless” something in life, through unpredictable turns and twists

Vốn là 1 quản lý cấp trung với tương lai đầy hứa hẹn tại một công ty lớn và được cấp dưới yêu mến, thế nhưng 1 ngày, cuộc sống của nhân viên ưu tú Kindaichi Fumio (Kimura Takuya) đã đột ngột thay đổi. Nhận được sự chú ý từ cấp trên, nhưng anh lại bị gán cho một tội mà anh không hề biết và buộc phải rời bỏ nơi làm việc. Thậm chí sau đó, anh còn bị đả kích với hàng loạt những bất ngờ khác xảy đến và trong một ngày, anh đã mất hết nhà cửa, tài sản, điện thoại, và không 1 xu dính túi. Hết cách, anh ta đi đến một công viên, nơi anh ta đã gặp được 2 đứa trẻ và học được từ chúng cách để tồn tại mặc dù không có đồng nào trong túi. Bằng cách đó anh ta đã dần vượt qua được cơn khủng hoảng và khám phá ra những điều thực sự quan trọng và vô giá trong cuộc sống này. Điểm tốt ở anh chính là tính cách vô tư không hề thay đổi. Sự oán giận và cay đắng không thể trở thành động lực cho anh, nhưng chính tình yêu và sự giúp đỡ của những người anh gặp đã khiến anh tiếp tục tiến lên phía trước. Nikaido Aya (Karina) làm việc tại bộ phận tài khoản trong cùng công ty với Kindaichi, 1 cô gái không tạo được sự chú ý của mọi người nhưng luôn thực hiện công việc rất xuất sắc. Những sự cố liên quan đến Kindaichi cũng thúc đẩy cho 1 bước ngoặt lớn đối với Aya. Trái tim cứng nhắc của cô gái cũng dần thay đổi nhờ những lần chạm trán giữa họ.
